Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice in utility construction since 1936, is hiring both entry level and experienced Mechanics in the Phoenix metro area. Team Fishel's mechanics work on gasoline and diesel engines, as well as heavy equipment. You must be able to work both as part of a team, or unsupervised when needed.
Responsibilities:
1. Inspect and troubleshoot vehicles and equipment for needed repairs; perform minor repairs when required.
2. Perform general overhaul, tune-up, oil changes and repair work on automobiles and related power driven equipment.
3. Inspect, adjust and replace necessary units and parts including cooling, fuel and exhaust components.
4. Repair and overhaul brakes, ignition systems, electrical systems, transmission, differentials, and hydraulic systems.
5. Inspect, repair, overhaul and assemble automotive electrical equipment such as generators, distributors, magnetos and starters.
Requirements & Qualifications:
1. 1+ years experience in preventative maintenance and repair of trucks and construction equipment.
2. Ability to stoop, crouch, and reach.
3. Ability to follow safety rules and procedures.
4. Welding and fabrication experience a plus.
