Description
Team Fishel, the Best Choice in utility construction since 1936, is hiring Underground Telecom Foremen at our Houston, TX office. The Telecom Foreman will be responsible for successfully leading field crews and assisting their supervisor to meet project goals in a safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Leads field crews on various size projects
- Ensures accuracy of time-sheets and expense reports
- Monitors quality and ensures installations meet customer specification and industry standards
- Ensures safety practices are observed by all Teammates
- Reports, coordinates and supervises all aspects of a project
- May work independently performing site surveys for estimates and proposals
Requirements & Qualifications
- Must have previous experience working from blueprints and specifications
- Experience (3+ years) in conduit placement, fiber placement, manhole placement, hand hole placement, and cable or fiber pulling
- Must have experience running a crew of 4 to 5 Teammates
- Equipment operating experience ( backhoe, mini excavator, trencher, plow etc.)
- Available for travel to in-state and possible out-of-state project sites
