Traffic Control Dispatcher

Phoenix, AZ office.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, schedule and dispatch Traffic Setters

• Appropriate company vehicles or Traffic Control equipment to job sites

• Ensure proper equipment and resources are available and ready for deployment

• Understand Traffic Control plans, take-offs and other docs provided by Field Crew

• Maintain and foster good working relationships between field crew and Supervisors

• Other office support duties as needed

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Must have strong basic math skills

• Ability to read traffic control plans

• Proficient in MS Office applications, google maps, TCR Software

• Construction knowledge and MUTCD knowledge is a plus

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to learn new skills on the job quickly

• Must be able to handle a high volume call environment

• Maintain a positive work environment
