Apprentice (Electric)

Team Fishel is looking to hire Apprentice Linemen for our Electric Utility Market nationwide. The purpose of an Apprentice Lineman at Team Fishel is to participate an successfully complete a rigorous Journeyman Lineman training program and develop on-the-job skills on the way to becoming an Electric Lineman. 

Apprentice Lineman Teammates will be able to competently and confidently perform in a highly skilled and safe manner all the duties associated with the construction, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage electrical power systems up to and including Transmission, Distribution, Overhead, and Underground.

Qualifications

• Possessing a Class ‘A’ CDL strongly desired

• Safely and efficiently provides electrical line service to our utility clients.

• Participates in the Apprentice Lineman training program including after-hours studies.

• Cut and clear brush at ground level.

• Available to perform other line work as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Provide ground support for lineman operating in aerial bucket, on pole, trenches or underground facility environment.

• Operate heavy machinery involved with digging, setting and tamping poles, pulling overhead and underground conductors, digging and backfilling trenches or other excavations and hurt man rescue by operating platform controls of aerial bucket.

• Assemble & disassemble hardware for overhead & underground installations in a de-energized environment with instruction from Journeyman Lineman.

Bilingual and prior construction experience is a plus
