Team Fishel, the Best Choice in utility construction since 1936, is hiring an Outside Plant (OSP) Telecom Construction Project Manager for fiber optic installation and splicing projects in the Louisville metro area.
Responsibilities
1. Accurately plan for materials, equipment, and labor to provide for safe, and on-time project completion while striving to exceed requirements and specifications
2. Provide all required job reports
3. Complete as-builts and redline prints
4. Manage change orders and progress billing with the customer
5. Communicate job status with customers, be responsive to requests
6. Ensures safety practices are observed by all crews
7. Report, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of a project
8. May work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance
9. Provide effective leadership for the project team
10. Evaluate Teammate's performance and develop a plan for increasing growth and responsibility
Requirements & Qualifications
1. 5+ years previous Outside Plant Telecom experience is required
2. Ability to travel as needed in and around the Atlanta metro and surrounding areas
3. Experience in contract management, change orders, and unit price schedules
4. Ability to interpret construction drawings and create as-built prints
5. Must have computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications
6. Valid Drivers License with a safe driving history
